Our Vision

Safe Permanent Homes for all Children

Our Mission

Court Appointed Special Advocates of Southeast Texas, Inc. is a non-profit, non-governmental service organization that recruits, trains and supervises a diverse group of community volunteers, appointed by the Courts, to advocate for abused and neglected children in the pursuit of safe, permanent homes.

Check out our CASA license plate - "Big Voices for Little Texans" (pictured above). This design features the CASA Logo with our Big Voices theme. We are proud of the role CASA volunteers play in the lives of the abused and neglected children in Texas by being that big voice that speaks up for our little Texans. I Am For The Child

What is a C.A.S.A.?
A Court Appointed Special Advocate is an adult, at least 21 years old, willing to stand up for an abused and/or neglected child. A CASA volunteer is appointed by a judge to provide factual information on behalf of a child caught up in a difficult legal process through no fault of their own. In a court system challenged by increasing caseloads, a CASA volunteer can make the single greatest difference in the life of a child. To learn more about being a CASA volunteer, click on the 'Become a C.A.S.A.' volunteer link above.
