Our CASA logo is made up around the symbol of a heart. In a physical sense, the heart is what keeps the body going. In a spiritual sense, it’s what helps us care and love. CASA volunteers are the heart of our organization. The volunteer advocates for the child making sure their needs are met and they have someone that genuinely cares for them during their time in foster care. In order to keep those hearts healthy and strong, you play a vital part.  We need you to be a lifeline, a friend of CASA!

I am for the child whose name no one can remember. I am for the child who has attended eight schools in four years, because she is in foster care, after her birth mother, debilitated by mental illness, neglected her. I am for her. I am for the child who almost died--who now sits, surrounded by strangers, in the back of yet another class, failing because she is without glasses and nearly blind. I am for that child. I am there for that child to listen to her, to stand up in court for her, to speak for her, to champion without compromise for what's in her best interest. Because if I am there for her, I know she will be half as likely to languish in foster care, and that much more likely to find a safe, permanent home. That is the child I am for. I am a Court Appointed Special Advocate, CASA.
