As a CASA Advocate, you'll be a consistent, caring adult for a child experiencing abuse or neglect in the foster care system. After completing training, you'll be assigned to one child or sibling group and will spend time getting to know them, gathering information from the people involved in their life, and advocating for their best interests in court. You'll communicate regularly with teachers, caregivers, caseworkers, and other professionals, document your observations, and provide the judge with informed recommendations that help ensure the child's voice is heard.

Most advocates commit 5-10 hours per month, including visiting with the child, making contacts, and completing monthly reports. Cases typically last 12–18 months, allowing you to provide the stability and consistency every child deserves during a difficult season of life. No legal or social work experience is required, just compassion, reliability, and a willingness to walk with for a child. We provide all the training and ongoing support you'll need to be an effective advocate.
